Default Stock stereo goin crazy

Hey guys, I have the stock stereo in my 98 firebird and every once in a while the clock and radio station display get alittle crazy and just display random numbers. It goes back to normal after a day but I dont understand whats goin on with it. Is there a problem with the electrical system of the entire car, or is it just the radio spazzin out. If its just the radio I dont give a **** since ill be changin it soon neway, but if it was in the electrical system of the car then I would like to get it looked at.

It's not even the entire radio. The connector for the digital part of the display is known for getting corroded and causing all kinds of display problems. The radio should function normally if you can put up with the display problems.
