then i took the face apart, and placed a piece of red plastic (theatrical gel, used to color lights) over the lense, thats why its red <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> matches the interior awesome at night, but its hard to see during the day.

That is the Pioneer DEH-7400MP. Its hard to see, but that little blue circle above the center of the deck is the IR transmitter for the PAC SWI-X so I can retain use of my steering wheel audio buttons. Even though its not pointing directly at the unit, it still works fine there.
