Where does this loose connector attach?

Where does this loose connector attach? I had my driver side kick panel off today, and noticed there was an unattached 2-pin connector freely dangling. I couldn't find any unused connectors which would mate to it, but I doubt it's supposed to be loose.
It's a white 2-pin connector, and the wires are Black & Grayish-brown with a black stripe. The wires came out of the same loom as either the clutch switch or brake switch wires (I forget).
If anyone knows what da heck it's for please elaborate <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
