Is there any reason not to install a 12" sub in the passanger side and a 10" in the driver side.
From what I see I can't get a 12 in the driver side without a custom fiberglass box. Is there any problem with mixing a 10" and 12" sub?
Thanks

Yes, there is a reason. Whenever using subwoofers in a car audio system you should only use ONE type/size of woofer. The reason is due to the amount of air each size of speaker displaces when operating. A 12" will move more air than a 10". If you have a 10" and a 12" playing the same frequency range in the same vehicle, the two woofers will create some cancellation and harmonics between the two different woofers. The sound output would be less than what a pair of 10" woofers would put out. In short, don't do it. it would sound like crap. If more bass is what you are looking for, just add multiples of the same size speaker. (4 8"s with 800wrms on them sound really good in F-Body cars.
