I do agree going with bigger cables as I would on anything I drive being that the bigger the cable, the better the current can travel. A better alternator is also a good start. Someone told me that the late model GM alternators are flaky, don't really last that long and cause a lot of electrical problems. Sniper33 and CountryBoy have described my problem to a T. Stepping on the clutch and idling is when it's most noticable. Coming from the stereo installation biz it looks like not enough current is getting to where it needs to be and a change in alternator and cable would suffice but wouldn't GM put something that could handle the load that these cars are asking for?
