If your'e running the amp for subwoofers, you want to tie into the speakers in the sail panels (rear seat armrest). these speakers are already crossed over (filtered) so bass freq's only come through them. Wire the unit as the instructions say, then hook up the RCA cables to your amp. other than wiring the rest of the amp, (power, ground, remote) that should do it. as far as your noise comment, are you wondering if this will cause noise? It shouldn't, but if you experience noise, make sure that the unit, and RCA cables are well away from factory wiring, and your amp ground is solid.

Ramair,

I installed the pac behind the radio and it fit fine in the dash. You will want to splice into the rear speaker wires identified below:

Headunit wiring harness
Pin#............Color.................Function
1...............Grey..................Front Left Speaker -
2...............Tan...................Front Left Speaker +
3...............Dark Green............Front Right Speaker -
4...............Light Green...........Front Right Speaker +
5...............Black.................Ground
6...............Brown.................Illumination
7...............Grey..................Dimmer
8...............Pink..................Power Antenna
9...............Yellow................12V Ignition
10..............Orange................12V Constant
11..............NA....................NA
12..............NA....................NA
13..............NA....................NA
14..............Dark Blue.............Steering Wheel Controls
17..............Light Blue............Right Rear Speaker -
18..............Dark Blue.............Right Rear Speaker +
19..............Yellow................Left Rear Speaker -
20..............Brown.................Left Rear Speaker +
The smaller plug on the back of the radio is for the optional cd changer.

You do NOT need to hook up the brown wires from the pac sni-35. Then just connect your rca's, set your levels and go.

I have experienced no noise, except for when I use my drivers side power seat motor (ran the rca's along the drivers side door). This is a result of the location of my rca's and not a problem of the pac sni-35.

If you splice into the rear sail panel speakers and install the pac in the rear compartment you will be more likely to introduce noise in the extra length of wire you run from the speakers to the pac. That's why I'd suggest installing it in-dash.

Hope that helps,

Russ
