Re: rockford HX2 ill let you know in about 2 weeks hopefully tommrow im taking my car in to start on the glass box and amp rack for 2 hx2 12's and a 1500 bd .... I sell car audio and have used a good deal of whats on the market this will be my first with the hx2 but i can tell you powered right the he2 is compareable to a mxt 8000 or kappa perfict or a mmats pro series (as far as db out put) rockfords are in addion the most reliable of the 4 but probaly only better that mmats as far as sq over all the HE2's are a reliable good sounding speaker for most when used in a 1.25 cu ft sealed ... but thr infinitys are gonna have more sq same out put as a HE2 and less reliabilty while mtx 8000 has more quality than rockford less than infinity though and less reliabilty than all but infinity but like i said thats the lower HE2 the HX2 id expect near same SQ more output and same reliabilty * by reliabitly i am meaning abitly to be beat a bit* just hit me up and a few weeks if ud like at jpr5690@aol.com and ill tell you how they sound in a f body ... the last guy i talked to said that his two forced him to cust fabnricate a ned hatch lock beacouse it broke his ... i dont know how truthful he was since he was just a custmer i was talking to but havent heard anything bad yet

Re: rockford HX2 I had a pair of 12" HX2 DVCs in my 96 Mustang, powered with about 1200 watts RMS. They sounded great, but they love ported boxes. Make sure whoever builds the box that Fosgates specs are followed very carefully.

Re: rockford HX2 I have 2 of these 8 ohm DVC 12s in the trunk of my girls car in .88 cubic feet each sealed running off a rockford 800.2. Let me tell you it slams really hard and being in a sealed box has great sound quality. They are just real heavy and need a lot of power. If you are worried about weight at all these are not the ones to buy though.
