Antenna not raising...

Antenna not raising... Every since I have had my car, my antenna has a mind of its own. 99% of the time it works perfectly. The 1% of the time it doesn't go up when I turn on the radio. It won't go up for like a couple days or a week, but then all of a sudden it will start working again. What could this be? Anyone have this problem before???

Re: Antenna not raising... a buddy of mine sprayed water all over the antenna when washing his car and the grease washed right off. Thats when his antenna got completely jammed so he had to buy another antenna. Hope you didnt do the same. If you can, try adding some grease to it, that way if it gets stuck 'sometimes' then the new grease should be able to mix in with the old grease and add up to what might of been washed off? It wont hurt to a little more grease anyways. Good luck.
