Need Help Building System Please I have been out of the car audio game for a while so I need some help.
This is actually for my new cruiser. 2002 Inifinty I35. But I figure my fellow F-body folks can still be a great source of info <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Need some help looking for a good moderately priced in car AV system. I want to be able to do XM radio,cd's,mp3's,navigation and dvd's.
Would like an in dash screen and one for the back seat (headrest???)
Want to upgrade the factory speakers and add a sub and amps to round out the package.
Not including labor (I can dust off my skills and I have a buddy thats into this for the install) Can I piece something together for around $3,000 ????

Re: Need Help Building System Please Take a look at the Clarion, Alpine, or Pioneer av systems. They are a complete in dash system with mp3, dvd, navigation, and screen, all in one box. They are in the 2000-2500 range. That would leave you with 500-1000 for speakers/subs/amps. Of course, if you get the stuff on line you'll get much better prices and have more left over to spend on your speakers/subs/amps.
