I got the battery, its like 35d/75t or something like that.
The red one is for like hard starts or something? It has a 3 year warranty. The yellow can be completely drained and recharged over and over but since its used for systems and other stuff like that its only warrantied for a year.

This is a link to Optima's site (their product section):
http://www.optimabatteries.com/products/index.asp
Here is my understanding:
Red-Top: Battery
Yellow-Top: Better Battery
Blue-Top: Marine Battery
Here is a description of what areas each is better suited for:

Hang on just a second here. Youve forgotten to take into account what your going to be using it for. The Red Top is capable of more amps (which is why its goot for starting). The Yellow Top can be _drained_ many times without problems. Now, if the battery isnt going to be hooked to the alternator, then a Yellow is the way to go, as it can take the deep cycling abuse. But if you (like me) have the car running most of the time that the stereo is on, then Id spring for the 870 amp Red Top. If your never going to deep cycle, you dont need a deep cycle battery, and you may as well have those extra cranking amps for the cold days.
