Good combo?

Good combo? I'm gonna be getting a 10 or 12 inch sub for my car soon (still not sure), and I'm thinking about getting a Alpine type R sub and run it off the MTX 6500D amp. Will this hit pretty good (Not going for super bass, but a nice amount). My other audio things that I have installed are below.

Re: Good combo? You are talking more than enough power and yes those subs hit.... If this combination is installed right it will suprise you. You could actually get great bass out of 1 10" in the Q-form box that is made to go in the little cubby in the drivers side rear and the MTX amp that is half that power.

It seems that I can't get my hands on a 6500D amp at my work (sold out), so I was thinking about getting the 4250D MTX amp since I have a few in stock, and put that with the type R sub. I've heard that the 4250D hits pretty hard and is good for a one sub setup... but I've personally never heard it. I decided to look at tsome reviews and a lot of guys with this amp have it attached to 2 500watt 12's...
