Amp with the monsoon can i do it can i install a aftermarket amp {mtx} to my stuip monsoon system? i do not want to buy a whole new set up just to add some bass. need to save my cash for go fast goodies ya know.any help is great thanks <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" />

All you need to do is splice into the rear speaker outputs (behind the head unit) with a good line output converter. That will give you the rca outputs that you need. You can then use the fader as a remote bass level control.

Re: Amp with the monsoon can i do it The fader on the monsoon deck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> If you splice into the rear speaker outputs and turn the fade all the way forward, no bass. Turn it towards center and, more bass.

Re: Amp with the monsoon can i do it Spend $50, buy a PAC OEM1.....makes everything plug-and-play, NO Cutting!!! It plugs into the factory head unit and the factory harness, with a set of RCA jacks and a remote leadout. The easiest and best way if you ever plan to return the car to stock
