I am looking to do the same thing. I don't think you need a special radio for it but you can get one to simplify the install. If not, you have to wire in a seperate box that has the controls for the xm which could be mouned anywhere. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

no matter what you need a seperate box. like a home satelite reciever. Than an antenna (a big ugly one. You can get a generic piece that will play through any radio through a fm modulator or get a nice aftermarket radio that can control a reciever box. I have an alpine radio that is xm ready meaning it can control an alpine reciever box. Than I have that alpine reciever box as well. I hate to say it but go with sirius if you want satelite radio. xm plays mostly unknown artist. sirius plays more musid from known bands. The install is pretty easy. Hint, if you have a TA, you can hide the antenna in the fiberglass spoiler. totally hidden. and the fiberglass is plenty thin to get a signal.
