Default Radio LOC code question....

a friend of mine has a 01 silverado. he is putting a system in it, and he unplugged the radio. now he is getting the LOC code, and he doesnt know his secret code number. i did the same thing in my camaro, and i called a 1-800 number and i got the code off of there. but i cant find this paper with the number on it. does anyone know where i can find this number? or anything else that he can do. he called the dealership and they told him to bring his truck in, but he said he doesnt want to <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> . any help would be much appreciated. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
