replacing monsoon subs and amps

replacing monsoon subs and amps i was wondering what subs i could put in place of the monsoon subs and what amps would fit into place of the stock amps (if needed to push different subs).

You'd be much better off buying a drivers side stealth box and a sub amp. You can replace the monsoon subs but you'll have to find an infinite baffle sub and they won't sound as good as a nice stealth box, sub, and amp. You can check out www.subthump.com for stealth boxes and I'd recommend elemental designs subs with a jbl amp.

Re: replacing monsoon subs and amps i went to that site i like the milhouse box design better than the stealth. anyone have any experience with them? were's the cheapest place for jl audio subs? i have heard jls in other cars and want some for mine but i don't know where the best place to get them is.

Re: replacing monsoon subs and amps The Milhouse box rocks. The stealth works well too. Either will likely give you the same type of sound. The Milhouse box was actually mine originally and subthump is now building and distributing it. I have not used a stealth personally, but even the first Milhouse was louder than my most recent system. I'm not sure where to tell you to go for JL, I don't know who around you is a dealer for them. You can shop around and find good deals. Check out ebay.com for auctions and ikesound.com for actual retail sales. One option should help you find a good deal.
