Default Stock deck

Just curious, are there any preamp outputs on the stock stero? Or do I need to go ahead and buy a new deck?

Nope, none on the stock deck.
You can get a little adapter that you splice into a few wires on the harness that gives you a pre-amop output.
They're sold at Circuit City & Best Buy for lie $20.
I'm using one in my car right now even.

I used two when I did my system. I didn't want to get rid of the head unit (steering wheel controls ) but was removing the monsoon amp and putting in aftermarket amps. I cut the wires behind the head unit and put the converters in. Then I was able to run shielded stereo cables back (got rid of some of the interference).
