stock radio lighting i have a 1998 camaro and about 85% of the lights no longer light up on the dec,, drives me crazzy, should i go with a new after market deck or is there a way to fix it?? I love the scv feature on the stock deck... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
Re: stock radio lighting There should be a way to fix it. I had the light behind one of the buttons on my 01 WS.6 steering wheel go out, and the warranty replaced the button. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I like the SCV feature too. I had a 97 Anniv Z with it. Too bad they don't put it on the T/A's.

Re: stock radio lighting If you want to keep the stock deck, you should be able to find a used one looking around the classifieds of this site, ls1.com, camaroz28.com, camarov6.com, fbodyaudio.com or any of the other fbody sites. I'm sure someone would sell their old stock deck to you for 30-50 bucks.
You can move up to aftermarket and gain some better sound/performance from the deck. A new stock deck from GM is something like $400.

Re: stock radio lighting thank you for the replys.. yes i have check with gm,, way to much. I was thinking of a aftermarket.. but 1 bad thing about them is they have 4channel vs. 6 like the stock <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
