Re: Hatch ... there should be the trunk release stock on all TA's.
note, you do need to push the button twice for it to work, if that does not work, and the button under the console does not work, check the hatch, and see if your missing the trunk release motor, if so, then your going to need to find out all parts that are missing.
IT could just be unpluged, or a faulty transmiitter.

Hatch ... Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to instal a trunk release. I have the stock remote for my 98 TA and it has the trunk release button. I think i need somekind of sensor for my hatch? let me know how much its going to be and where i can get it.
