Default Ordered the Panasonic 9300u in dash DVD

Hi guys. Well hope I made a good chioce. I've been reviewing DVD's for a while now. I decided on the 9300 from Panasonic. Looks to be a sweet unit. I also ordered some Infinity Kapa 6.5's for the doors and 6.5's for the rear seat area not the hatch. I'm going to rewire the speakers from the unit and bypass the factory amp. I already have a JL box with the DVC 10 and a JL amp driving it. Should sound pretty sweet when its done.

Where is the factory amp located? I want to take it out to save some weight.

Thanks Rob

Should be a good unit.. Panasonic (Matsushita) makes some of the highest quality plasma screens around.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Factory Amp/tuner is located just ahead of the antenna in the back of the car.. you will be surprise how little or "500 watt" amps weigh.. <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

Good luck with the install <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
