I bought some silverstars from wallyworld and the god damn things dont fit because the original bulb is encased inside the housing..Do i have to buy the whole housing (lens, bulb, etc.)? Where do i buy them and do they have silverstars?

The firebird use sealbeam headlamps and those are H4701 and H4703. The only option is halogen. Sylvania does not make Silverstars in those model numbers. They do make the foglamps though. Another option is HID.

I put Silverstars in my car, but it wasn't easy.

HID's are the brightest, but are expensive and labor intesive.
Silverstars are definetly better than the stock lights even if you have to spend $70-$110 to put them together. HID's start at around $300 so it's "a bargain at twice the price".

The Wagner housings and H7 bulbs run about $70 or less as the bulbs are pricey at $20 each.
The Eurolamps housing isn't any better except that it has the removable base in it. There's no difference optically between it and the Wagners. You can build the Wagners today and spend less. The Eurolamps come with lesser bulbs for under $90 shipped, but take a while to get. Then if you want Silverstars you have to add $40. So both options kind of even out.
