Wiring Help

Hi everyone. I just purchased a JL 10W6V2 and a JL 500/1 amp and i was just wondering the best way to wire up the sub. This is my first install and i dont know all the compinations of ohm's and dont know whats the best for the situation. Any help would be great.

Being the 10W6V2 is dual 4 ohm sub, wire the voice coils in parallel and put that to the JL 500/1 at a 2 ohm load. The sub might have jumper wires and you would connect the "+" terminals together and the "-" together.
