12 disc Pioneer changer
12 disc Pioneer changer I just got a factory 12 disc for my car but now i'm wondering how I can make this work in my car. My hu is a monsoon cd but it has been replaced under warranty 2x in 2000 so I don't know if it is a model that can control a changer or not. Also is my car prewired for a changer? I looked in the back where it goes and did not see anywires in the area but I did not get a chance to look hard yet. Thanks for any info.

The changer wire harness is taped to the left rear (hatch area) speaker harness. Reach up under the plastic trim and you'll find it.
Since your head unit has been replaced, the only way to find out if it supports a changer is to plug the changer in and see if it works. If it doesn't, you'll have to get a 2000 or newer head unit.
