Stupid car
I had a yellow top Optima and several friends suggested that the yellow top might be the problem so I went with the red top and it still does the same thing.
I have disconnected the negative terminal and measured the draw between the negative cable and the negative battery terminal to be less than 10ma.
I have had the alternator checked and it tested perfectly with no faults.
The only thing that I have not checked yet is all the grounds to make sure they are all good. Which I intend to check tonight when I get home from work. But could one bad ground really cause the battery to die in less than two days?
I don't know what else to check, what else to do. Can anyone give any suggestions, help, direction?
Thanks,
Brian
I don't see a trickle charge killing either one of those batteries with that little draw.
Check the grounds for sure.
