reprpgramming key fob?

does anyone know how to reprogram key fobs(transmitters for a 2004 Ford F-250 powerstroke? i know this isnt LS1 tech related but i figured u guys would help me out?

it didnt come with one, its a used vehicle i just purchased and i dont want to spend any money at ford.

i believe installuniversity.com has a how-to article on how to do it. it's not very difficult.
