what speakers fit
what speakers fit i just bought a 2000 trans am and im looking to put a stereo in it and ive gone to a few web sites and different car stereo stores and each tells me something different when i ask what size speakers fit in my car.. ive been told 6.5 all the way around the inside(not in the hatch) then another place told me 5.25 in the front and 6X9s in the back..

Assuming you have the Monsoon system, all of your questions are answered in the FAQ sticky threads at the top of the forum. Basically, you have components in the doors consisting of a 6.5S (6.5" oversize) mid and a .75" tweeter. The sail panels have 6.5S subs and the hatch area has components consisting of a 4" mid and a .75" tweeter.
