HELP!!!
I know this is not really engine related but... my battery died tonight it was almost 4yrs old(origional)someone told me that when you replace your battery that you have to have a radio code to get the radio to work again???? is this true? if so I don't have mine, I bought my car used and I have no manual with it, is there any tricks to changing the battery or is it like the older cars(nothing to reset except the clock)?????

Re: HELP!!!
They're talking about theftlock. If it was on when the battery went dead then you will have to enter the code that you set when you activated it.
If you never activated it you should be ok. I never activated mine and have had the battery disconnected with no problems.
If for some reason your radio is locked when you put the new battery in you'll have to take the car to the dealer to get it unlocked.(I think) You might also just try every available code. I think there is only like 1000 of them. <img src="images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">
