I have one, only used it a few times. For some reason I can't get it to stop at a 1/4 mile. I have to go like 1/2-1 mile, then it says I ran a 15 second run when I run 13.4 at the track.

Did you go through the calibration steps before use? And enter your vehicle weight (actual weight) and all that jazz??

I got my car weighed with me in it, and did the calibration. My GPS said it was almost spot on with the 1/4 mile. Times were accurate as I can tell. 0-60 time was right on.

While it might not be as accurate as the lights at the track...it seemed good enough for me to get an idea of how the car was running. I know a couple buddies that have used them at the track and get consistant numbers between the G-tech and the track slip.

The only thing I can never seem to get right, is the G-meter. I got the RR version, and the G's seem to be off. Like while sitting still or going straight it says im pulling heavy Lateral G's.

Overall I love mine. The "tree" is neat because it will stage you randomly...so you have to actually pull a good "light". The shift lights work well. Its a fun little toy.

Yeah I messed with all that stuff. I'm gussing it because the road is not 100% flat.

Yeah you are probably correct. Its close enough to have some fun with though. I mean...if you are donig a skidpad type thing...it shouldnt matter about the flatness. It should still give you your max G while going around. I havent found a nice big flat smooth surface to try to emulate a skid pad yet....
