Parking Brake Switch
Parking Brake Switch I was wondering if any one could give me a part number and location of this switch. Mines gone bad cause no matter whether the handle is up or down the light doesn't come on. The brake engages and works but no light which means that the headlights go on right when I turn the car on. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

The switch is mounted to the base of the parking brake lever. It is part number 12506876. It is a simple grounding switch that has a single light blue wire going to it. Don't replace it without testing first. Unplug the light blue wire and ground it - the brake light on the dash should go on. If it does then the switch is bad, if not then you have some other problem.
