Wire question??
Wire question?? I have a 98 TA that has had the radio and everything taken out for weight savings (drag car). The harness is still there but I don't know which wire is the power wire and I need a 12v switched power source. Can someone tell me what color the power wire is in the harness? Thanks.

It's the yellow wire in the black connector. The complete pin out diagram is in the Monsoon FAQ.
This is not an ignition switched wire - it's a RAP wire. It remains live after the ignition is turned off until you open a door.

Here is my problem. I need a fused switched 12 volt source for a shift light, but everything has been pulled from the car for weight savings. The complete wire harness is still there but I don't know what each plug used to go to. Can anyone tell me a fused switched 12 volt source and what the plug would look like?

The pin out diagram I mentioned also has a picture of the connector.
However, I would suggest you get power directly from the fuse box. There are three aftermarket accessory port in the instrument panel fuse box. They look like half of a fuse slot (i.e. only one pin instead of two). They are labeled BATT (constant battery power), IGN (ignition switched power), and ACCY (switched power that is also available during RAP operation like the radio). They are protected by 15 amp fuses but you should use your own inline fuse anyway - probably much smaller than 15 amps.
