Default Are 98 & 2000 Firebird Radios interchangable??

Most likely an answered question but I am wondering this b/c I found a head unit from an 00 F-Bird and want to put it in place of my tired 98 . Can I do this? Thanks in advance

Yup. 00 should also support aux input adapter, an added bonus.

You should know that aftermarket units drop right in with normal kits. There is not special wiring or anything special about the head unit at all.

If you like factory looks and all I can appreciate that but decks of better quality / durability / features can be had for $100 or so these days.
