Question Need opinions on this system

Hello All:

I searched on some info on audiobahn, but did not find a whole lot. I'm not a newbie to car stereo, but I haven't replaced components in a few years. I was wondering what you think of this system. I know MB Quart has a fairly good reputation, but I don't know a whole lot about Audiobahn.

H/U: Panasonic 8803U
Front Components: MB Quart PCE-216's (Rated 135 rms/channel)
Rear: None for now (saving $$$, will I even need any?)
Sub: few year old Kappa 10" DVC (2x4ohm coils)
Amps: 2 x Audiobahn A4002V (100x2 RMS)

I listen to most modern/alternative rock, and the occasional rap. I almost always have the windows down and tops off, and I have a decently loud car due to cam/headers/catback. Any huge suggestions? The MB's are already bought and the Kappa sub I already own. The H/U and amps are really up for neogotiation. I was going to go with 2 Audiobahn amps for aeshetics in the trunk, but would be open to other brands if they're not too $$$.

Thanks for your opinions on helping me shape this system.....

U wont need any rear speakers other than the sub if u amplify those mb quarts. My friend has them in his truck and there crazy loud. Audio bahn is decent for subs but havent heard there amps yet. I am a personal fan of old fosgate amps, kicker amps. And most of all memphis.

I dig the flame job on the speakers and I heard they are decent speakers..not the best though...But that is only people talking and everyone has an opinion..I am having problems getting ANYTHING out of ANYBODY here also. on the performance threads you can't shut people up (for better or worse) here nada.

i have an audiobahn amp and love it,especially for the price. i did have a precision power 2350 which was 1400 rms but the problem was even with caps i still didn't have enough current for it so i got the audiobahn amp and it is just as loud and no more light flickering since it is a more efficient class d amp. i have no idea about their subs.

After doing many hours of research, I think i'm going to go with the soundstream tarantula series. They seem to have a good S/N ratio, decent price, enough features for my needs, and aren't the same amps everyone else buys @ Circuit City...

David-

I feel car audio is much more subjective than performance parts and appearance mods and the likes.... everyone has their favorite brands. Either they bought the product themselves, so they think it's a good item, or they're trying to sell it to you so of course it's a great product....
