Good, or good advertising?

hey guys. after christmas im gonna start buying all the components to my new audio system. Ill be buying a subthump stealth box and originally I was going to go with an Alpine Type-S. However, when I went to subthumps site it said that they highly promote the Elemental Design 11Kv2 sub to go with there box. I checked the specs on this sub as well as the alpine and for the volume of the stealth box, the elemental designs sub actually does match better. I was just wondering if anyone has heard the way this sub sounds in the box because subthumo swears by it. Is it true or is it just advertising?

I can't endorse either specifically but properly matching a sub to the right box is very important, if the specs for the type s don't match the stealthbox, don't use it.
