6.5 speakers component speakers Ok guys the two 6.5 speakers that i am deciding between are
Infinity Kappa 60.7cs

I replaced my door speakers with Infinity Kappa 63.7i three ways and went with a pioneer head unit left the factory monsoon sail panel mid bass and the rear cargo area speakers hooked up and you would not beleive the diffence in the improved quality of the sound system..

alpines will most likely give you a little more of the mid-bass, while the infinitys may be a tiny bit louder and clearer (probubly not real noticable), but with less of the mid-bass. I perfer the alpines, thats what i have in my car, except the coax not components.

In the monsoon system the sail panel speakers are mid bass only speakers(subs) there are no tweeters in the sail panel speakers..your front door spekers are 2 way speakers..mid bass and tweeters

Speakers aren't going to give you bass. They'll give you decent midbass, with a good amp. Alpine Type R components will provide better midbass than those Type S components, and be cheaper to boot (I got mine for about $130 shipped).
If you're hooking it up to a stock deck and amp, don't expect much improvement, other than clarity. Also, in a well-designed system, transparency is the goal. No speaker should ever "thump".
