steering wheel control fuse keeps blowing?!
I check out the fuses, and the steering wheel control fuse is blown.
The next day I go by autozone, buy new fuses, when I put one in, it will last for a bit of time and then randomly blow out.
Has anyone even had this problem? I can't really afford to buy 2 packs of fuses a day.. how can i fix this??
Should I go to a chevy dealership or just an electronic place??
Think of any items you added to the car. Do any of them effect that circuit? You can also trace the visable wires as much as you can and look for any insulation worn off.
You could also unplug your radio wheel buttons and see if the problem goes away. If it does then it's something in that circuit.
You just undo the battery for 15 minutes, then take a T30 torx and unbolt the airbag. You'll see the radio button wire plug behind it, undo it and put the air bag back in. Then attach the battery cables.
