IPod I got a IPod (the video one with the larger screen) and I want to get the transmitter to play it through my radio and have a charger. I think I want to get a mounting station for it and put it to the right of my right leg under the dash if there is enough room. I would also wire it in so I don't have to deal with the cigarette lighter plug in.
I want to be able to hide it when not in use and make it inconspicuous.
Anyone do anything like this or have any solutions? Thanks!

ipod alot of ppl like their transmittors, but I think the best bet is get a aftermarket hu with ipod cable....i have the alpine with the ipod cable and love it...still havent figured out where to put it but i have seen ppl just put them in the glove box
i had the monster cable one in my 01 ss it is a charger and transmitter it workex excelent i just took out the ash tray and kept my wire in there and wheni was ready to plug and play ide oped it up connect and then set the ipod in the cup holder and just close the ashtray lid, but the alpine with the ipod is the way to go if ya have the money

I wouldnt waste my time with a cable like setup. i have the wirleless DLO adapter. just plug into ur cigarette lighter and turn ur radio to 88.1 fm and ur rockin before you know it. the sound is great too. plus no wires whats so ever. mine was about a 100 bucks.
