Rear window defrost I have an 01 Formula, and for some reason when I turn it on, the light will stay solid for maybe 30-60 seconds. Then start flashing irradically. I doubt it's supposed to flash like that. If it wasn't so consistent I would assume it's a wiring issue, but I don't know where to even start. Anyone else run into this or have an idea as to what's going on?

Next time it happens see if the power seat controls are erratic too - think they're on the same circuit. Maybe the circuit breaker is weak? If you suspect the breaker, temporarily replace it with a regular fuse of the same value and see if it stops. Just an idea...

It's probably the circuit breaker - they get weak as they age. Replace it with an ordinary 30-amp fuse (it will plug right in) and the problem should go away.

I found it before I even saw the post, i was visualizing something more like a switch and the larger style fuse. I 've never had a car with circuit breakers in it, heh. It fixed the problem though. Thanks.
