turn signal socket problem

Almost everybody. The front lights on our cars are infamous for trapping water and corroding the sockets. You can try cleaning with contact cleaner and then packing with dielectric grease or you can buy replacement pigtails from your local auto parts store.

Check that the bulbs are 3157 and not something hotter like 3357 or 3457.
Mine was the exact same way...and it IS burnt to a crisp. I ended up going to a junk yard and found the exact same socket hanging out of a wrecked Buick 4 door of all things. I don't know what caused it but it was definetly burnt up...not just browned.
