Need Help:Air Bag Light
Need Help:Air Bag Light I did some searching on here and I couldn't find anyone with the exact same problem that I'm having. I recently replaced my turn signal switch, which required me to pull off the steering wheel. After reinstalling everything, my air bag light stays on. What have I done wrong? Anybody have the same problem?
I marked the splines and I thought I had ever aligned when I put it back together. Would steering wheel misalignment cause this problem?

yes it would.. i would recommend taking it back apart. since the light is on, its safe to say your airbag will not work in an accident.... make sure all the electrical connections are clean and tight, and realign everything...
How do I re-align the wheel and / or realign the airbag sensor with the wheel? The Haynes manual doesn't mention anything about it.
I think that I am pretty close. The air bag light goes off at start up and extended periods during straight aways, but turns on immediately during any manuevering.
