Default Wiring Gurus Inside (need help kinda quickly)

I have a dynotune nitrous pressure gauge and would like to use a switch to toggle in between stand alone fuel pressure, engine fuel pressure, and nitrous pressure. The gauge has four wires white, black, blue, and brown. Brown is hot and won't be switch, blue is ground and won't be switched. So basically I need to connect the white and black from the gauge to 3 other sets of whites/blacks in a three position switch.

What switch do i need and how do I wire it up?

James

Black's ground, so ground them, and get a Single Pole Triple Throw or Double Pole Triple Throw switch. DPTT will likely be easier to find. You'll have to use a multimeter to find out which pin (SPTT) or pins (DPTT) are common. There'll be one or two rows of four pins. Ignore one of the rows if there are two.

Put the multimeter in continuity mode (the mode where it beeps if you touch the terminals together), use an alligator clip to put one probe (either one) on one lead. Then test the others. You should end up so that you'll get a beep on each three remaining pins with its own specific switch position. The pin with the alligator clip on it (the one that you haven't moved to be able to get all the others to beep) is the common. Wire that pin to your gauge. Wire each of the three white wires to the other pins in that row.

My instructions list blue as ground and brown as hot, so a dptt switch with white and black hooked up like you listed the whites would work?

Oh, there are 4 wires. My bad. Glad you clarified, I don't want to be responsible for ruining your stuff!

Use a DPTT then, blacks on one side, whites on the other.

One more question, I need to know if the nitrous outlet round rocker they use for their bottle openers is a Double Pole Triple Throw. I just figured they didn't use the center position.
