Default How to connect Ipod to Stock cd player

Is there a way to connect an Ipod to my stock cd player? What do I have to buy?

Thanks,
Brandon

Man, this subject has been beat to death.

Basically, you need an adapter such as the PIE GM9-AUX which converts the CD changer port on the back of your factory radio to an auxiliary input. Or, there are devices like the iPod2Car that do the same thing but are a little more expensive because they have additional features like keeping the iPod's battery charged and allowing the use of the steering wheel controls to change tracks on the iPod. All these are only possible with 2000 (actually late 1999) and newer model CD head units so you are okay with your 2000 T/A.

Is the only way to get this adapter on line or can I go and pick one up at a store? I searched but could not find where to buy it except online.

It appears that neither BestBuy nor Circuit City carry either adapter so you're probably right - you would have to order it online. Crutchfield carries the iPod2Car adapter.
