starting problem....need help please my car has always started fine untill tonight. tonight when i was driving i noticed all electric power would blink (go off and come back on real fast) while driving. now when i try to start my car all the electrical stuff work while in run but when i go to start it all the electrical stuff goes out and will stay off for awhile. my security light came on a few days ago but i thought nothing of it cause everything was working fine. my batt and starter are both good. any ideas on whats the problem?

Sounds like your car's security shut down the car......
When you start the car, the car's computer goes through some security protocols before the car starts... and it's process is not always the same...
A few years back my 4th Gen Trans Am was exposed to very wet conditions and there were times that I had to turn the electric current on and wait for the security light to go off....
when the car was no longer in that wet environment the problem disappeared.... also after a couple trips to a GM dealership on the matter...
There could be some issues with the security protocols....that would need a more detailed look.
