Default New system FINALLY here.

Well, i went from knowing nothing about car audio, to knowing a little about car audio It's just not my thing, but thanks to the help of people on here I was able to throw something together.

HU Pioneer 9800BT
pioneer ipod adaptor
Front components Boston Acoustics PRO60's
Sail components Boston Acoustics SL65s
JL audio Stealth box w/ W3 "10
JL A4300 4Channel
JL A1400 mono
Subthump Amp rack
Custom TransAm WS.6 HU mount
and may get the shop to Dynamat the doors.

I hope i get good results going from the stock monsoon to this new set up! Almost 3 months with blown speakers SUCKED Install was scheduled for today but UPS lost my amp rack, so a new one is coming here monday. Props to the good guys at subthump for getting that out to me immediately.

You definetly chose some quality grade A peices for your audio system. As long as the shop installs everthing correctly with the right guage wire and good RCA's you should have an EXCEPTIONAL sound system to say the least!! Word of advice...dynamat(or other sound deadner) the doors if you have the means. I would dynamat more than that but the doors and sails are good/easy places to start. It will help your speakers sound that much better and with the quality of the items you bought, it will enhance the SQ. Nice!!!!!

Your going to love that Pioneer HU, I sat in my garage for over 2 hours just messing with all the features and blaring the new system.

well i drop my car off thursday night so hopefully the shop will have it done by friday!!

I think im going to hold off on dynamatting the doors for now. its something i can always come back and do later on my own. It doesnt seem like it would be that difficult but i could be wrong. I will post up pics when i get the car back!
