factory monsoon
factory monsoon my factory monsoon radio in my 2002 z28 cuts out when i hit a bump. now it dosent do it every bump only the bigger ones. when it happened the first few times i thought it was the cd but it seemes to be doing it more and more. does anyone have any idea what it could be. thanks

-more than likely a loose BCM connection and/or faulty BCM.... When the radio shuts off, try moving your power windows next time to further confirm this....it actually doesn't seem as obvious that it's the BCM in your case as in others since it sounds like every time it cuts out it comes back right away (by the way you described it).
Try moving your windows when it happens again - and if they move, look elsewhere for a short behind the radio, etc. - otherwise check all power/ground wires to/from the BCM.
Before replacing the BCM, do what you can to be sure there isn't just something shorting out somewhere.
