currently running JBL power series, will be trying to sell them because I want the PDX's from alpine, if you're interested in a PX300.4 from JBL I have one, its one hell of an amp.

Those PDX amps are nice, but they're not worth the money, really. Try a Pioneer PRS-D4100F, even though it has a little less power (unless you NEED the extra bit)

I have read that the PDX's have been putting out more than their rated power and others have recommended them over the PRS lineup. Although who knows, as a lot of what you hear should be taken with a grain of salt. I like the PDX's because they put out great power in a VERY compact size. This would allow me to run 3 of them in the current space I have allocated for my amps. I don't see me switching anytime soon though and as of right now they are just a dream...lol

yeah, it would allow me to run one 150.4 bridged on my front comps for 300watts to each of them and another 150.4 bridged on my M6 midbass for 300watts each. I would then run a 1000.1 on my sub. Having the chance to run that much power to my comps/midbass makes me want to do it, but those amps -ARE- pricey

Except that you'll just blow your speakers if you even try to use that kind of power, making it worthless.

nah, not if you have them properly crossed over and take it easy. I have heard of people running 250+ watts to their CDT's and they say they love it. I just would like the extra headroom

When I got both the PDX amps, they came with a document showing what they were putting out @RMS, my 1.1000 was rated @1153 watts RMS, the 4.150 was rated @182X4 RMS...

At first I thought :wtf: is this ****, one of my friends told me what these sheets meant, they told me that my amps were kicking ***, I said cool!!!

Elemental Designs in my car and the girls. Of course I am a little biased... I am an employee so it would be sacrilege to run anything else plus our products are very nice as I am sure a few of you know.

Well, it is a convertible with a Borla so every little bit helps.

Never heard of them. Send me a link and some specs. Keep in mind that I used to compete in IASCA in the toughest class (500-1000w) and did quite well. I know my stuff and I know .

ED is the bomb. I run their speakers (6500s) in the front and have run several subs of theirs and been VERY happy each time. My next sub will be the new A series. If you have really never heard of ED, you haven't been paying attention to the scene over the last couple of years. Their gear works well in both SQ and SPL applications, depending on the installation. There is better and there is louder, but not for the money, from my experience. I run a/d/s/ amps (older anniversary series). If I were to buy now on a budget, ED amps. Money not a factor, I would go DLS or McIntosh.

Check out elemental designs, very good stuff and won't break the bank.
