electric problem

at high rpm's my car likes to make the dash reset and i noticed my hid's start to flicker. anybody have this problem? it has a new optima battery, all new terminal bolts tightened. could a bad belt do this?

The belt tension is controlled by the tensioner and make sure it is working smoothly. If that is good, you may want to have the alternator checked out.
