Default Subthump ttop box

I have a very silly question. How does it secure the t tops? do you keep the t top holders that come on it stock or how does it work? Thanks I feel so nubbish.

they just slide into the opening...mine are very secure that way and i think it looks really nice having them tucked into there and not just set someplace else taking up space we really cant
