upgradeing sail panel speakers
upgradeing sail panel speakers looking to upgrade my sail panel speakers and here are the the speakers i have found and want some info on them if you have and what speaker is the best sounding speaker compaired to the stock ones.

CDT M6 is another consideration - probably one of the better/best? as far as SVC.
TA though.....you're going to want the eD eu700s without any doubt, IMO since they are the only quality DVC replacement I know of that works best for Pontiac versions of the Monsoon system.

I'll second that. If you're keeping the Monsoon amp in a Firebird, the EU700 (now called the 7Kv.2) wires in just like stock, only requires a little spacer work to compensate for the greater mounting depth, and sounds much better than stock.

Here is a thread about installing the ED subs. It is based on Camaro so your Firebird wiring will be a little different (4 wires, 4 terminals instead of combining the connections).

There have been numerous threads about the HU lights. A little searching should turn up plenty of information about replacing with LEDs, etc.

I know a guy who is selling a set of JL audio 6W0's if anybody is interested...

If you need a pair of CDT M-6's I can get you those for $220.00 shipped NIB. Normally they are $249.00. They are however SVC 4ohm like the JL's so that needs to be considered. They do not require any spacers or metal cutting though.
I now have the Bazooka replacement DVC subwoofers as well that are perfect for your application if your just looking to replace the sail panels. These wire exactly like stock utilizing both voice coils optimizing output of the stock Monsoon amp.
do these need washers to make them fit or is it a direct drop in. do the speakers holes line up with the cars or would i be drilling new ones to make teh bazookas work. these are sum of teh first DVC speakers i have found actually
From what I've been learning, these need a spacer and the holes don't line up, but otherwise the wiring is just like factory. That's the most important part. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
