Default Blinker problem not found in search.

Hey

well I finally got my aftermarket gauges fixed but now I have a new problem.

My right hand blinker does not work at all. Both the back and the front blinkers do not work. The indicator light on the dash does not work either. This is only for the right one. I have checked the fuses and they are all fine. My left hand blinker + indicator works just fine. what do you think this could be? When I was using autotap before I was getting this error: P0650 Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) control circuit. That error seems to come and go along with the right blinker.

My warrenty is void so I am going to have to fix this myself. Any suggestions?

Sincerely
Badz2801

Did you check all the bulbs?
A burnt out front bulb would cause it not to blink.

If it's not that, maybe check the turn signal flasher. I dunno how the flasher would cause only one side to not work though.

No I did not check to see if the bulb was burned out yet. I have to wait until this weekend to go back home to do that.

Do you think it is really just a bulb? Why would both the front and the back signals not work. Besides shouldnt the indicator light blink faster when a bulb is burned out? My right side turn signal indicator does not blink at all.

Sincerely

Last week, my right signal wouldn't blink. The indicator and rear tail light would go on constant and the front wouldn't do anything. Also, if I had the headlights off, the front running light would not light up, but if I turned the **** from off, the light would come on. I took the bulb out to replace it and it was all corroded inside the socket. There are 2 filaments inside the bulbs, and one of mine was missing the terminal wires on the bulb from corrosion. Put a new bulb in and it's perfect again.

Ill give it a shot. My running lights still work, so that is kind of a mystery to me. If you think of anything else please let me know. Thanks for your help.

Yep, a bulb can be the cause.
It does that purposely to tell you that you have a bulb burnt out.
If it doesn't blink, a front bulb is out.
If it blinks really fast, a back bulb is burnt out.
Kinda nifty and annoying at the same time

Oh thanks man, you probably saved me a good 3 hours of work there tracking things down.

Do you recommend any special replacement lights for the car that are plug and play (other than stock)?

Thanks again for your help.

Sincerely

Nah, you don't need anything special, just head to the nearest AutoZone or PepBoys or whatever. The bulbs they have should work fine.

Oh... but don't buy APC bulbs... they suck. (my APC bulbs lasted 3 hours)
