oh yeah its loud

yeah they are only 10"s. their rms is 1000w a piece and the max s 2000. they can handle alot. the magnets on them weigh 25lbs a piece. it took me awhile to get it all together but im glad its finally done. im thinkin bout selling it only b/c i kinda need the money for other things. if your interested in it send me a pm. dont want to get rid of it but sometimes you got to do what ya gotta do. its got two 3 farad capacitors under the box hidden along with it.

I agree, I went with 2 15" deepbox from subthump. You have to request it by the way. No room for the t-tops, but I wanted big bass and if I take the t-tops out, they go on the floor.

what 15s are you using? I had the same box.. but had he-2's in it and they didnt sound very good. They were ok.. but no way did they compare to the 13Ov2's which areonly 12's in the ttop box

They are kicker 15" L7s. They work and sound fantastic. I have some more dynamat work, but it's extremely loud. It's powered by a kx2500.1 using two yellow tops and a 275amp alternator.

If you are using the t-top box, it's much smaller so that's why they sounded like crap. The deep box doesn't have any room for the t-tops and goes all the way to the bottom of the trunk. It was $400 1.5 years ago. I'm sure it's slightly higher now. He doesn't advertise it, but if you ask for it, he will build it. The response he wrote was based on the old mics. The car is expected to hit 150+db on termlabs. BTW, pic is an old setup. It will change shortly, as soon as it's out of the shop from the turbo setup.

I had the same box you have though it was builot for the round subs

I used the same amp for the 12s and 15s... maybe i just under powered them.. I just felt like they didnt have enough air or room or something...

Prolly had something to do with the magnets on those he-2's were thin as hell.. The 13Ov2's weigh quite a bit more than the he-2's and their magnets look twice the size.

it's possible not enough air, what subs were you runnin again? Kicker 15 L7s minimal space is 1.5, that box just meets the minimal for sealed.

some old rockford fosgate HE-2's 15 inch. Think they were like 500 rms 1000w max or something,. but they were light compared to the 12 inch 13Ov2's from eD.
