Stereo change: Is this worth changing to?

Stereo change: Is this worth changing to? I currently have an Alpine MRV 4-chan amp pushing my 10" sub. The rest of the system is the stock monsoon. I also have an Alpine 6.5" midbass/1" tweeter component set that is just sitting in my closet. The amp has internal high- and low-band pass filters.
If I switch out to running the component set off the amp in the front doors, and remove all the monsoon speakers (resulting in a 10" sub, 6.5" midbass, and 1" tweeters all thru one 4-chan amp), will the sound be cleaner and/or louder than the monsoon/sub combo?
Just wondering if it's worth the hassle...
So, just to clarify, is
10" + (2)6.5" + (2)1" > 10" + complete monsoon?
